ENVIROCHEM Audit Cell
The Chemical Engineering Department of RNGPIT has approved as Schedule-I Environment Auditor since 2012 from Gujarat Pollution Control board, Gandhinagar. Environmental Audit lab has also certified as NABL accredited Laboratory ISO/IEC 17025:2017 of Testing & Calibration Laboratories since 2019 & also certified with ISO 9001:2015.
As a Schedule-I Environmental Auditor, department is carrying out environmental audit approx of 15 Industries form all over Gujarat allocated by GPCB every year. The Industries includes Process Industries, Sugar Industries, Chemical Manufacturing Units, Common Effluent Treatment Plants, Power Plants, Pulp & Paper Industries, and Hazardous Waste Treatment Storage & Disposal Facilities etc.
